The Loan Process

The Home Loan Process

There are many steps involved in getting a Home Loan. We have created this website You wouldn’t be here on our website if you could fill out a one-page application and get the best loan for you funded the same day. What we do is most of the heavy lifting for you. Then you can focus on what you really want – to move into your new home, save money on your monthly payments, or make plans to utilize your home equity line of credit.

There are four primary steps involved in getting a Mortgage loan. We have made the steps as easy as possible, we will handle the heavy lifting, but there are a few steps we need your help with. Please feel free to ask us about these steps at any time, we are here to help.

Step 1. How much do you need to borrow? or rather, how much can you borrow?

This will be based on a few things. First consideration is how much of a Monthly payment are you comfortable with? Then we will analyze your Income, Employment History, Credit Profile, Outstanding Debts, and most importantly your goals. We can then help you determine the best loan program to meet your needs, and that will give you the most benefit, both short and long term.

Step 2. Get Pre-Qualified for the Loan

We will continue the process started in #1 by figuring your ratios, reviewing your documentation, etc and prepare a formal Pre-Qualification. With the Pre-Qualification in hand, you will be able to shop for a new home with confidence, or proceed with your Refinance knowing that you are Pre-Qualified.

Step 3. Get Started, It’s never been easier!

Once you enter contract on your home purchase, it is time to move forward with Underwriting. We will work with you to gather the additional info necessary from the Seller, Realtors, Escrow, Title, Appraiser, etc to move your loan to full approval and funding.

Step 4. Move in!

Once we are funded and Title records with the county, you are ready to move into your new home!

We will do the bulk of the work for you, it’s what we do as a Lender. We strive to make this process as easy, transparent and enjoyable as possible for you.
